Project Summary:
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) initiated the Pilot CFL project in 2017 in 100 blocks to strengthen the financial literacy and inclusion level. In the 3rd phase of this initiative, ACCESS is allocated CFL centers in different states including Punjab, Bihar, Maharashtra and others.

Position Summary:
ACCCESS is hiring a Project Officer to support the implementation and management of Centre for Financial Literacy (CFL) activities across states. The role involves coordinating with regional and state teams, overseeing data management and reporting to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), supporting training and field implementation, and ensuring timely documentation and MIS updates. The position also requires regular field visits, stakeholder coordination, and continuous monitoring of program effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Project Officer under this project are:

  • To provide support and coordination to the regional managers in the operationalization of the CFL centers
  • Supervising and supporting the team members in developing the implementation plan of the CFL centers according to the SAP (State Action Plan).
  • Management of project data in coordination with the state teams, and submission of the monthly data to sponsor banks and Reserve Bank of India (State Regional Offices).
  • Management of the documents, including monthly bills and reports in coordination with the state teams, and work with the accounts team for the on-time submission of the monthly documents.
  • Support the state teams for the smooth coordination of the field implementation and achievement of monthly targets (financial literacy and linkages) at the CFL level.
  • Support in training of the state teams and coordinate IEC material and plan the training methodology and training action plan to achieve the target.
  • Conduct regular field visits to the blocks to check the quality of the training, keep track of the impacts on the ground, conduct regular assessments of the training, data management, and regular updates on the MIS portal.
  • Regular back-and-forth assessment of the program’s effectiveness and discuss it with the team leader and the team members for possible solutions.
  • Support in the administrative process to the state team including center management, IT-related issues, regular documentation of bills and data, MIS, and more.
  • Establish rapport with the concerned government and other stakeholders. Liaise with the state and district administrations and attend meetings with stakeholders.
  • Any other tasks and assignments assigned by the team lead.

Education & Experience:

  • MBA/ Postgraduate from a reputed University.
  • Minimum work experience of 3 Years, including experience in the development sector

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to interact with government stakeholders and good communication skills.
  • Good exposure and understanding of tools like Microsoft Office and other technical data management tools and platforms.
  • High level of writing and communication skills, strong command in the English language, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and in diverse work environments.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is commensurate to industry standards and will be determined based on the experience set of the candidate and the HR policies of the organisation.
