AWE Project is a new initiative of ACCESS, supported by American Express to promote women’s enterprise and help them realise their potential for socio-economic empowerment and sustainable business growth through capacity building, business improvement and peer learning. Under the project, 6000 women micro-entrepreneurs in urban and peri-urban areas of Delhi and selected districts of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh (near to Delhi) will be identified and engaged for building their business skills and to help them upscale their enterprises. Training and capacity building will be undertaken using a set of innovative training resources. The specific objectives of the project are to: advance access to financial services and entitlements among women micro-entrepreneurs through financial literacy, enhance women entrepreneurs’ business efficiency and competitiveness for improving revenue and profit and enhance women’s decision making, mobility, and negotiation skills.

Entrepreneurship for Enablement (SEE) Project is a new initiative of ACCESS, supported by Amazon to promote livelihood and entrepreneurship by building knowledge of 30,000 youth and women and supporting setting and setting up of 2,100 enterprises (new and existing) through capacity building and by linking them to backward and forward steps of the value chain over a period of three years across three States including Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. The project is proposed to cover 10,000 youth and women from poor and low-income backgrounds in three cohorts over a period of three years to support existing nano-businesses or self-employment opportunities as well as promote new nano-entrepreneurial ventures using the innovative standard Buddhi Money enterprise training pedagogy of ACCESS. The specific objectives of the project are to – Enable entrepreneurial mindset and capacity among youth and women through awareness creation and financial inclusion; Organize potential women/youth entrepreneurs into informal/formal cohorts for capacity building and peer learning; and Empower the community of women/ youth to negotiate in the marketplace, to effectively access resources, markets and capital and markets, as also entitlements.

‘Upscaling and Upskilling with BuddhiMoney’ Project is a new initiative of ACCESS, supported by Bajaj to promote sustainable enterprise growth by enhancing business management skills of women-owned enterprises through capacity building and by linking them to backward and forward steps of the value chain over a period of two years across two States. The project is proposed to cover 2,000 women entrepreneurs from low-income households in rural, urban, semi-urban and peri-urban clusters in Lucknow districts of Uttar Pradesh and Thane district of Maharashtra using the innovative standard BuddhiMoney enterprise training pedagogy of ACCESS.
