Position Summary:
ACCESS is inviting applications from dynamic and self-motivated individuals for the position of Communications Intern. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English, a flair for content writing, and an understanding of social media communication.
The intern will support the communications team in developing and executing engaging content across digital and print platforms along with providing support in content writing and event/vendor coordination. The role calls for a go-getter with a creative mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines.
Responsibilities:
A. Programme Management
- Manage and execute communication tasks related to AWESuM Summit 2026. Develop engaging content for social media, websites, and various communication platforms.
- Plan, create, and manage a structured social media calendar across platforms.
- Support in developing podcasts – end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution.
- Handle website content management, ensuring timely updates and accuracy.
- Create presentations, reports, and communication materials using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Design basic visual content using Canva for digital and project-related needs.
- Use storytelling, photography, videography, and creative writing to document on-ground and summit stories.
- Provide communication support during events, workshops, and summits.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal ACCESS teams to ensure timely delivery of communication outputs.
Education & Experience:
Graduate degree in Communication from a reputed institute, with at least 6 months to 1 year of work experience. Experience or understanding of the development sector will be an advantage.
Skills and competencies Required:
- Good writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Basic understanding of design tools like Canva.
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good time management and attention to detail.
- Understanding of social media and digital communication trends.
- Comfortable using MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Creative thinking and ability to present ideas clearly.
- Team player with good communication and coordination skill
Travel Requirement:
Whenever required, especially for any event.
Timeline:
3- 6 months internship
Stipend:
The stipend range in this position is commensurate to industry standards and will be determined based upon the experiences and fixed as per the HR policies of the organization.
