About Project:
This project supports DAY-NRLM’s transition from large-scale SHG mobilization to strong national and global market integration. With 10.05 crore women in 90.90 lakh SHGs and 1.48 crore Lakhpati Didis (June 2025), the mission is now poised to transform these platforms into high-growth, women-led enterprises. ACCESS Development Services will establish and implement a comprehensive national marketing strategy aimed at integrating SHG enterprises into formal mainstream markets. As a first step, ACCESS will undertake a comprehensive assessment of current market efforts—examining product volumes, value realization, channel performance, product quality, and branding and packaging standards. Building on this analysis and consultations with stakeholders (Government, private sector, academia etc), ACCESS will prepare a detailed national market strategy and action plan within the initial weeks. This roadmap will guide value chain prioritization, channel optimization, and branding and packaging upgrades to accelerate revenues and position SHG enterprises for competitive advantage and sustained growth.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphics Designer to lead the development and execution of compelling visual communication across print, digital, packaging, and marketing platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a strong design sensibility, proven leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple creative projects while ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives. The Graphics Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, external partners, and designers to deliver high-quality visual assets that strengthen brand identity and enhance customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
1. Creative Direction & Team Leadership
- Provide creative direction, visual guidance, and art direction across all design projects.
- Review, refine, and approve final creative outputs to ensure consistency with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Mentor and support designers by providing constructive feedback to strengthen creative quality and performance.
- Foster a collaborative and innovation-driven design environment.
2. Design Strategy & Brand Standards
- Develop and implement design systems, templates, and visual standards to maintain consistency across all communication materials.
- Ensure all visual assets align with the organization’s branding, positioning, and communication strategy.
- Stay updated on emerging design trends, technologies, and tools to continuously improve design quality and workflow efficiency.
3. Product Design & Category Development
- Lead the design and visual development of products across multiple categories including:
- FMCG products
- Textiles and apparel
- Handlooms and handicrafts
- Home furnishings and lifestyle products
- Packaging and retail merchandise
- Develop product concepts, visual identities, packaging systems, labelling, and branding elements aligned with market trends and consumer preferences.
- Collaborate with product, sourcing, merchandising, and marketing teams to create commercially viable and aesthetically strong product lines.
- Ensure consistency in product presentation, packaging design, labeling, and visual communication across categories.
- Support the creation of premium and market-ready product portfolios with strong visual appeal and brand positioning.
4. Project Execution & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project goals, target audience, timelines, and deliverables.
- Lead the conceptualization and creation of visual assets including:
- Brand identities and logos
- Brochures and print collateral
- Posters and campaign creatives
- Infographics and presentations
- Packaging design
- Social media creatives
- Website and digital assets
- Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Coordinate with printers, production vendors, freelancers, and external agencies for seamless project execution.
- Oversee print production processes to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
5. Digital Asset & Workflow Management
- Maintain and organize all design files and assets through a structured digital asset management system.
- Ensure proper version control, archiving, and accessibility of creative resources.
- Support efficient workflow management across multiple concurrent projects
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in graphic design or visual communication roles.
- Prior experience managing creative teams or leading design projects is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in design and creative software including:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe XD)
- CorelDRAW
- Figma
- Canva
- UI/UX design tools and prototyping platforms
- Basic motion graphics and video editing tools such as After Effects or Premiere Pro are an advantage.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, digital design systems, and responsive visual communication.
- Strong understanding of:
- Typography
- Color theory
- Layout composition
- Branding and visual storytelling
- Knowledge of print production processes, materials, and specifications.
- Familiarity with digital design, web design principles, and user experience concepts.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and platform-specific visual requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
- Experience with project management tools and collaborative workflow platforms is an added advantage.
Travel Requirement:
Willingness to travel as required to implement the project efficiently.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is commensurate with industry standards and will be determined based upon the experience set of the candidate and the HR policies of the organization.
