Project Summary:
The Work4Progress (W4P) programme in India work towards a mission advancing women-led entrepreneurship and building resilient enterprise ecosystems that leave no one behind. W4P activates inclusive entrepreneurship through platform-based collaboration, community-led co-design and experimentation, adaptive learning with open knowledge systems, and replication across geographies. W4P is shifting norms, markets, and governance frameworks in rural India. Launched in India in 2016 (and subsequently in Peru and Mozambique), W4P operates as an open platform for civil society organizations, financial institutions, research and technology agencies, and public stakeholders. The program is operational in 568 across Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bundelkhand, Rajasthan and Gujrat, and works with socially and economically disadvantaged communities, women, and young adults.

Position Summary:
In this context, ACCESS is inviting applications from self-driven professionals who are interested to take on the role of Project Lead and delivering against the objectives of the project. The Project Lead will be responsible for timely and high-quality implementation of the project in designated. The project is specified on mainstreaming livelihoods, creating ecosystem for job creation on agri and allied sector in Jaipur and Dausa district.

Responsibilities:
A. Programme Management

  1. Ensure implementation plans for agri allied projects as per project deliverables, financial projection, and team progress.
  2. Regular review and supervision of all projects staff in the Project geography and provide technical support to the project implementation team.
  3. Supervise and Motivate team and their performance and monitor progress of the team.
  4. Effective coordination with ACCESS HQ.
  5. Ensure timely donor reporting.
  6. Maintain healthy relationship with donor and other stakeholders related to the program.
  7. Unlocking opportunities for new business for the targeted communities analyzing their need vs business opportunities.

B. Programme Development

  1. Identify key opportunities for new programme development within the district. This should be done through a local stakeholder analysis and assessment of programmes and schemes of the government and bilateral/multilateral agencies and corporates to ultimate development of value chain in agri products.
  2. Be guided by ACCESS’s Annual Operating Plan targets for revenue and programme outreach to be implemented on ground.
  3. Effective networking and stakeholder engagement.

C. Institutional representation and networking

  1. Effectively communicate organization mission and mandate among key stakeholders through bilateral engagement and participation in key sectoral forums.
  2. Presentation of ACCESS experiences and programmes in key forums.

Education & Experience:

  1. At least 10-15 years of relevant experience of implementing value chain development projects related to enterprise development and training and livelihood promotion. Experience of working in urban context is desirable.
  2. Master’s degree from any recognized university, preferably in Agriculture, MBA Agribusiness, MBA in Rural Management.
  3. At least 3 years of experience of managing a field implementation team, liaising with government departments and holds experience in working with the farmer groups, watershed management, natural resource management and climate resilient agricultural practices.

Skills and Competencies:

  1. Project & Team Management
  2. Communication, Reporting & Documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Networking; Liaison with Stakeholders.
  4. Ability to converse fluently in Hindi, English and in local language.
  5. Thorough understanding of Agri and allied sector, Programme Management, Strategy building, Developmental Evaluation.
  6. Data analytics skill is preferable.
  7. Female candidates are preferred for this role.

Travel Requirement:

Willingness to travel as required to implement the project efficiently.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is commensurate to industry standards and will be determined based upon experience set of the candidate and the HR policies of the organization.
